The Inland Revenue Authority (IRA) is the main governing body responsible for collecting taxes. Apart from personal income tax and corporate tax, Singapore also imposes tax on properties, goods and services, vehicles, and betting, among others. Personal income taxes are based on taxable income made from January 1 to December 31. Deadline of filing is April 15th of the following year. Corporate tax returns, on the other hand, must be filed on or before November 30.
